Manufactured in 1981 and registered in 1982 makes this Citroen H van one of the last off the production line. Previously used as a butchers van in Paris it was imported to the UK in 2016 and has undergone extensive external and internal refurbishment transforming it in to a fully functional pop up bar. It is mechanically sound and fully road worthy.
The exterior has been painted in a very traditional crème colour with anthracite wheel arches and matching roof. This perfectly complements the anthracite lining of the interior and solid oak serving counters.
The internal fit out incorporates a hand wash sink with hot water, an under counter freezer and a single door refrigerator. It is also equipped with two of our tower machines which allow for the provision of a large range of drinks to be served as draught. Each machine has two taps so in effect there can be four different products served at the same time and these can include: any kegged lager or ale, cider, Guinness, Pimms or Prosecco. The machines have an in-built air compressor so no additional gas canisters need to be stored on the vehicle.
Our in-house print facilities also enable the main sign to be modified according to the event that is being attended. Our gin & tonic concept ‘The Ginistry’ (pictured) has been a big success in 2017, however the versatility of the van allows it to be used as a full bar service (whereby the sign can be personalised – e.g. Liam and Zoe’s Wedding Bar) or a more specific offering e.g. Pimms Bar/Prosecco Bar/Ale Bar etc.
The vehicle requires a 16amp single phase power supply. A generator can be hired separately if necessary.
